ARTWORK
Custom tattooing is a creative process that involves the artists’s time, skill, and artistic vision. We do not send images of our designs ahead of time. Sharing artwork before your appointment can make the artwork vulnerable to being taken by another artist without permission or may result in the artist not fairly compensated for their work.
Your artist will have your designs ready at your appointment. By presenting the design at the appointment, our artists ensure that their work remains unique and original, that is tailored collaboratively with the client in person, and that any final adjustments can be made together. This approach helps maintain trust, respects the artist’s intellectual property, and supports fair exchange for the time and creativity invested in each custom piece.
ARTISTS REQUIREMENTS
Tina’s Ink artists reserve the right refuse service to anyone.
All tattoo artists must wear face masks during procedures. This is for the health and safety of our clients and our artists. We are creating large open wounds and it is important that they are not open to any contamination, particularly blood-born or air-born pathogens.
All artists must remain compliant with all licensure and regulatory requirements required by the State of New Mexico.
CLIENT REQUIREMENTS
Clients must be over the age of 18 with a valid photo ID.
Clients may not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol to be tattooed. This is for the health and safety of your tattoo healing and liability of the shop.
Sunburns or open wounds cannot be tattooed. Please inform your artist if these circumstances occur.
Please ensure you eat and are properly hydrated before your appointment. Passing out is not fun for you and definitely not fun for us.
Start hydrating your skin, regularly, a minimum of two weeks before your appointment but do not moisturize the day of your appointment.
Please wear appropriate clothing to access the area of your tattoo. Lose fitting clothing is ideal for post appointment attire.
